Free Published Project - Winter Snowfall

Quilter's Newsletter

This quilted table runner I called Winter Snowfall.  It uses Winter Wonderland and Baker's Dozen Sprinkles fabrics from Island Batiks.  These fabrics worked wonderfully to give the feeling of snowflakes flying in a winter sky. The curved flying geese are paper pieced.

This is a free web extra pattern from Quilter's Newsletter Magazine - Dec/Jan 2015 issue.  The size is:  30" x 10".

Go to:  www.QuiltersNewsletter.com to find the free instructions under the Webxtras.

  1. Now that's beautiful! So different. I'm getting the pattern and thank you for making it available. I might not get it done this year, but next year, I'll have to make several.

  4. Kathy,
You'll be pleased at how easy the flying geese are to piece! It looks a lot harder than it is !
